About us... Marvin Bankoff started in the gem business 50 years ago in New York City from his office on 47th street. He was the first to market Cubic Zirconia (CZ) and other diamond simulants in the United States. In the years to follow, he established the brand 'Diamonique®' and in 1989 sold his company to the QVC Shopping Network. Recognized as an expert in the field of man-made gemstones, Marvin continued to supply the industry with lab-created emerald, sapphire, ruby, and alexandrite (Chrysoberyl). He added color sapphire (pink, yellow and amber), created green garnet, Strontium Titanate, white and black Gilson created opal and many other synthetic and simulated gemstones to his inventory. Today, working out of an office in Valley Center, California, where he owns a avocado ranch, Marvin continues to supply the trade with his most valuable commodity - his knowledge of man-made gemstones. |
